ARSON SCANNER – Investigators Aid
For Arson Investigation, Including Detection of Hydrocarbon Based Accelerants and Gases

The ARSON SCANNER is a highly sensitive gas detector that
combines an array of 16 Ultraviolet LEDs and 16 Bright WhiteLEDs in a compact arson investigation tool. The array of 16 Ultraviolet LEDs provides a light source that may cause certainaccelerants to glow and fluoresce. An outer ring of 16 BrightWhite LEDs is useful in poorly lit areas.

ARSON SCANNER HYDROCARBON DETECTOR FEATURES:Hydrocarbon Detector detects approximately 125 toxic/combustible gases and or vapors including all heating gasesthat may be present at a fire scene.

Hydrocarbon Detector A higher sensitivity setting is usedto locate trace amounts of hydrocarbons. Lower sensitivitysettings aids in pinpointing the source in high concentrations. Makes possible identification of evidence days after the fire.

Solid State Sensor Broad-band permanent MOS type,will provide years of service.

Audio and Visual Displays Scan an area of concern, if a hydrocarbon is present, a series of beep tones in synchronismwith a flashing Red LED indicator.
