MODEL 20 Hydrocarbon Detector

Model 20 is a compact, ruggedly constructed combination detector with excellent sensitivity.
This unit is simple to operate: scan area of interest
with the sensor end held approximately one inch
from the suspect material while observing the
meter. If an accelerant is present, a deflection
on the meter will occur, followed by a series of
beep tones in synchronized to red LED
indicator lights.

Model 20 was specifically designed for hydrocarbon accelerants that may be present at a fire scene.
Unlike compromise units, the Model 20 was designed for the detection of accelerants.

Model 20 Has a Hi-Low Range Switch that permits detection of extremely small amounts of accelerants as well as highly saturated areas. And makes
possible identification of evidence days after the fire.
