Gas Detection

Haz-Alert

Haz Alert is a small, lightweight gas and temperature alarm that detects and sounds an alarm if any of 125 toxic/combustible gases or vapors is present. The automatic temperature sensor model available, sounds an alarm if excess heat build-up occurs, such as in a heat stress situation. This alerts the wearer of impending danger. It may be attached to a line and lowered into manholes, storage tanks, well casings or other confined spaces. The device may be worn as a personal monitor when working in these types of environments and can be used to summon help by pressing the Emergency Call for Help button.

Model C

Model CThe Model C is a highly sensitive hydrocarbon detector. The Model C is a non-calibrated detector that is used primarily for arson investigation to detect trace amounts of hydrocarbons. With its simple operation, the Model C can detect fuel oil concentrations of less then 200 parts per million. Model C+: Similar to the Model C, the Model C+ is a highly sensitive hydrocarbon detector that is also used to determine if a gas is explosive, and will only annunciate if the gas has exceeded the preset level of 10% of the LEL (test gas is methane). The Model C+ may also be calibrated to detect other gases and concentrations. Model C+ too can easily detect fuel oil concentrations of less than 200 parts per million. Model 850 Investigator`s Aid: The Model 850 Investigator`s Aid is a rugged, non-calibrated detector which detects the presence of hydrocarbons/accelerants/gases that may be present at a fire scene. It is equally effective as a general purpose gas detector. It incorporates advanced signal processing techniques which make it one of the most effective and reliable survey tools available. In addition to its uses in the arson investigation field, the Model 850 is an excellent tool for use in detecting Methane Outgassing (landfills), Leaking Underground Storage Tanks, Hazardous Materials and Petrochemicals.

Model 851 Investigator`s Aid

The Model 851 Investigator`s Aid is a rugged, calibrated detector which detects the presence of hydrocarbons/accelerants/gases that may be present at a fire scene. It is equally effective as a general purpose gas detector. It incorporates advanced signal processing techniques and features two modes of operation: a high sensitivity search mode for locating very small gas leaks, and a calibrated mode that indicates 0% to 100% of the lower explosive limit (methane is test gas). In addition to its uses in the arson investigation field, the Model 851 is an excellent tool for use in detecting Methane Outgassing, Leaking Underground Storage Tanks, Hazardous Materials and Petrochemicals.
